Privacy Policy

Morylane is operated by CHINIFY TRADING CO., LTD.

Last updated: October 3, 2026.

This policy explains the information handled when you use morylane.com or contact Morylane. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

The order and personalization processing described below applies when you place an order or use those services.

Information you provide

An email enquiry may include your name, email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to send. Account functions, when used, involve account identifiers, contact details and login information. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details by email.

An order may involve billing and delivery details, purchased items, payment status and order correspondence. A personalized product may also require a pet name, message or photo. The information requested depends on that product. A pet photo can contain personal information, so include only what is needed and make sure you have permission to provide it.

Technical information and site functions

Visiting a website sends technical information such as an IP address, requested page and browser information to the systems serving it. Website and security systems may record request information to operate the site, diagnose errors and protect it from misuse. Cookies and related storage can support login, cart and wishlist functions. See our Cookie Policy for the functions and choices described there.

How information is used

We use enquiry information to understand and respond to your request. Account and website information supports the functions you use, security and troubleshooting. When you place an order, we use order information to process the purchase, fulfil it, provide support and meet recordkeeping obligations. Where a legal basis is required, the basis depends on the purpose, including steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate operational interests; consent is used where required.

Sending an enquiry is not consent to a newsletter. Submitting a production photo does not automatically grant permission to publish it in marketing, reviews or stories; that use requires separate permission.

Service providers and sharing

Running the website and responding to email involve hosting, technical and email services. To process an order, relevant information may also need to be shared with payment services, delivery carriers and the production or fulfilment provider for that order. Information should be limited to what each service needs. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to address fraud, security or a legal claim.

The site uses WordPress, WooCommerce and YITH wishlist software. These software names are not a complete list of the businesses that provide hosting, email or fulfilment services. No promise of absolute confidentiality or a claim that information is never shared is made here.

International processing

Technical and service providers may process information in a country different from yours. The location and applicable safeguards depend on the service used. International processing is subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

Retention and security

Retention depends on why information was collected: responding to and resolving an enquiry, operating an account, handling an order or claim, and meeting applicable legal or accounting requirements. Relevant information may need to be kept while those purposes or requirements continue. We do not currently publish a fixed number of days that would apply to every category of information.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password for any account and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Photos submitted for personalization are handled for order processing as described above. This policy does not promise automatic deletion of uploaded photos; you can contact us with a deletion request as described below.

Your requests and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email [email protected] with your request. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained to satisfy legal obligations. You may also contact the data-protection authority applicable to your situation.

Browser settings can help you manage cookies. The Cookie Policy explains that blocking functional storage can affect login, cart or wishlist behaviour.

Links and updates

An external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. We may update this page as the site and services change; the date above identifies this version. Significant new processing must be explained before it is introduced where required by law.
